The Mediterranean cuisine, the food passion,\u00a0 the cultural exchange and\u00a0 the integration among peoples are very strong in this time .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It can be considered a challenge for all those people interested in the culinary world.<br \/>\nEvery year famous <strong>Chefs<\/strong>, arrive in this corner of western Sicily, from all over the world. They cook together original recipes of cous cous surrounded by an increasingly large and attentive public.<br \/>\nThe festival lasts a week in which in addition to taste the Cous Cous you can participate in <em>cultural events<\/em>, <em>cooking workshops<\/em>, <em>talk shows<\/em> and <em>seminars<\/em>, while in the evening, in the main square of San Vito Lo Capo there are live\u00a0 music and shows. The Cous Cous, in the beautiful surroundings of San Vito Lo Capo, is not just a simple dish, but the desire of a better world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Live show<\/strong><br \/>\nEvery night, a different artist performs on the stage next to the Sanctuary.<br \/>\nBecause the journey between cultures also takes place through the encounter and the discovery of new rhythms and melodies.<br \/>\nThe Stage of Cous Cous Fest, for many years now, is home to the most famous musicians and sensitive to the issue of peace, thus contributing to a continuing dialogue between peoples.<br \/>\nAll shows are free.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">THE RACE AND THE JURY<br \/>\nChefs from around the world participate at the challenge.<br \/>\nFor the first time during the last edition there were 10 countries that participated in the international culinary competition: <strong>Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Israel, Palestine, Italy, France, USA<\/strong>.<br \/>\nA jury, composed of journalists, chefs and food and wine experts, chaired by Paolo Marchi, presents the award for &#8220;Best Cous Cous Jury&#8221; and also two special prizes.<br \/>\nThe technical jury is supported by a popular jury composed of over one hundred jurors who, after tasting the recipes by chefs, express their opinion by voting via palette numbered.<br \/>\nThe jury is open to anyone who wants to join.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">GOURMET VILLAGE<br \/>\nAcross the country during the event becomes a great gastronomic laboratory permanent.<br \/>\nThe most original recipes and traditional flavors come together in a celebration that gives space to the imagination, but that does not forget the tradition.<br \/>\nIn gastronomic village, there are many stands where you can taste more than 30 different recipes for couscous &#8230; choosing will be a problem!<br \/>\nCannot miss the traditional Sicilian cannoli, cassatelle or almond cookies &#8230; of course combined with local wines. For those who wish, however, to learn how to make couscous and discover the technique \u201cdell&#8217;incocciatura\u201d, may attend classes taught in the many gastronomic workshops.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">THE TICKET<br \/>\nIt consists of two coupons. The first gives the right to a portion of couscous and a glass of wine. The second, however, is to taste a typical Sicilian dessert.
