A weekend dedicated entirely to sports on 4th and 5th of June thanks to the work of the Disability section of Team No Limits’ Association A.S.D. Diver project that has been operating for several years in collaboration with the municipality of San Vito lo Capo.
This event was born from the desire to experience the sea and the surrounding environment in the most comfortable way possible for those with walking difficulties at different levels.

ZERO BARRIERE is a project born in 2000 with the intent to facilitate the use of the sea for people with different motor skills, encourage individual and group tourist accommodation and use the sea and its environment as a factor of integration and socialization.

San Vito Lo Capo has immediately welcomed the idea with great enthusiasm and became the first beach for free with disabilities in Italy.
Through this project a part of the beach has been organized for the needs and requirements of disabled people, with a long walkway leading up to the area equipped with deck chairs, umbrellas, and, above all, where fantastic operators manage to feel at ease those with walking difficulties giving him moments of joy and serenity.

A great help for the disabled and their families so that they can enjoy the natural beauty of our land.
